Farnham Stables, situated in the heart of Chartwell Estates, north of Fourways, Johannesburg is one of the premier riding centres in the Gauteng area, with its focus being on developing top competitive showjumpers across all age groups. Farnham Stables has been established for 25 years and consists of 60 stables and 22 paddocks situated on 10 acres of land.
Owners, Barry and Lorette Taylor, are both top South African Riders with a magnitude of experience and victories to their credit. Living on the family estate, ensures that Farnham stables are managed hands-on with Stable Manager, Magnus van der Walt living on site too.
Farnham Stables has a relaxed atmosphere providing comfortable facilities for all levels of training. At Farnham, we work closely with our owners to ensure that their horses enjoy the best possible environment. We have some of the best horse livery and training facilities, plus kilometres of outdoor rural riding in the surrounding area… what more could you want?
The main focus areas of Farnham Stables are:

tuition of pony rider, junior and adult competitive riders in the showjumping and equitation disciplines
We understand that success with competition horses is as much to do with people, surroundings and collaboration as well as excellent care and schooling for both horse and rider. We offer a fantastic, professional, caring and comprehensively equipped full livery service and our personnel always provide the highest standard in horse care and stable management. We maintain a high level of security with proprietors and staff living on-site. Security is reinforced by lockable tack rooms.
